Bare Midriff Model on Vette

Posted: March 31, 2010 by illstudio in Illustration Studio

One of my usual poses, I’m here lying on the hood of Steve’s 1986 red Corvette.

For those of you who do not know, I never thought of myself as model material. When I met Steve, who dabbles in glamour and swimsuit photography, he saw something in me that I did not know I had…the potential for modeling. He primed and prepped me (grew my hair longer, bought new clothes and brought me out of my introverted shell) for the first few months I knew him, and less than a year later, I was in front of his camera. It’s a fun hobby we enjoy together as a couple.

Hot Chic Ready for a Ride

Here I am playing it cool in my orange string bikini and mirrored sunglasses. Leaning on my fiancee’s 1979 black corvette, I am definitely ready to go for a wild ride. Steve had something else in mind. His long-time passion of photography, glamour photography in particular, overruled my idea. You can probably notice that I don’t mind and, even enjoy the attention.

Babe in the Woods

This past weekend was so beautiful that Steve and I had to dust off the camera equipment and take some pictures. It was a short, spur of the moment shoot to get us back in the groove. The long, yucky winter left us rusty, but we are back for another season of modeling photos. Here is the first of many more to come, weather permitting.

Babe With Bikini Blues

Here I am on the Connecticut coast, lapping up the luxury of Mystic. The perfect late summer weather with beautiful scenery made this hour before sunset ideal for modeling. Steve and I had the place to ourselves, so we took full advantage of this opportunity. We got some really nice shots with the golden glow of the sun lending great warm tones to the photos.

All Shined and Prettied Up

This is my casually dressed up look. The skirt is actually supposed to be a beach cover-up, but I like it as a summer skirt. I know it’s fall and that wearing white after Labor Day is a fashion no-no, but I thought it would be okay for a private photo shoot. And the fashion police never even arrested me that day.

Seductive on the Dock

Steve took this photo on an overcast day in early October 2007. We decided that the background was so drab and colorless that Steve made a copy of it in black and white, leaving me in color. It looks cool and doesn’t look much different than this original version.

Because of the lack of color, my red swimsuit really pops off the page and attracts the eye.

Dazzling Curves

Here’s one of my favorites. This photo shows off my sensual shape and the Corvette’s beautiful curves. I still had my healthy golden glow from summer, even though the shoot was in October. The foliage was in full swing, but had not quite peaked, which usually occurs mid-October in my part of Connecticut.

Innocently Sexy

Steve and I like to dabble in stock photography and this picture is from one of the shoots this past summer. We have played around with different poses and many other subjects with some success. We plan to establish a portfolio of stock photos to earn us a pocketful of change.

Caressing Beautiful Curves

Here I am in the fall of 2008 caressing the beautiful curves of the 1979 black Corvette. Wearing little more than a mini skirt and a cropped camisole top, how can I possibly resist the brilliant shine reflecting all the autumn colors around me?
